Farm Family of the Year Application
Each year since 1990, Alabama Poultry and Egg Association has recognized the top poultry producing family in Alabama through the Alabama Poultry Farm Family of the Year award. We ask each production, breeder or broiler manger to nominate a broiler grower and/or a pullet/ breeder grower they feel excels in the areas of overall performances as growers/producers, their dedication to the family and their service to the community. The nominations are then turned over to a selection committee appointed by the president. A list of previous winners is attached for references when nominating a potential winner. Because of generous donations from Alabama Ag Credit, Alabama Farm Credit and First South Farm Credit, we can provide these awards to the top three farm families in the state. The 2025 winners will be announced at the “Evening of Fun” concert June 7. Farms nominated will remain in the program for a three-year term, unless otherwise notified by the company. Two tickets to the “Evening of Fun” concert will also be given to the person responsible for nominating the farm family winners and turning in the proper paperwork. We hope you will take time to consider the families who grow for your company and nominate one of them for 2025 Alabama Poultry Farm Family of the Year Award. We would like to receive at least one nomination from each Alabama complex. We need to receive your nominations by Friday, April 4.
