Big Bass Open Tournament 2026

Details:
- Lake Guntersville – Guntersville, Ala.
- Boats launch from Guntersville Municipal Park launch (Wyeth Dr. – Highway 431)
- $100 per boat (two-person team)
- Proceeds go to Allied Committee scholarships
- Controlled start at 5:30 a.m. (or first safe light)
- Lunch following tournament (Sponsored by River Valley Ingredients)
Rules:
- Open to all
- Must furnish own boat and equipment
- Maximum of two people per boat (team)
- Live wells must be checked before launch
- Must abide by all Alabama Boating Safety Laws: valid boat sticker, life vest, fire extinguisher, etc.
- Must abide by all Alabama Game and Fishing Laws: valid fishing license, etc.
- Small/largemouth bass must be at least 15 inches, spotted bass must be 12 inches
- Limit five fish per boat (no dead fish will be weighed)
- Artificial bait only
- Boats must check in at dock by 12:30 p.m. Boats more than 15 minutes late will be disqualified (12:45). Scales close at 1:30 p.m.
Prizes:
BIG FISH – $1,000 for largest fish weighed (Sponsored by California Pellet Mill)
Total Team Weigh-in:
- 1st place – $500
- 2nd place – $240
- 3rd place – $140
- 4th place – $100
- 5th place – $80
- 6th place – $60
