
“Step that Step” over to Birmingham for an Evening of Fun while listening to 90s sensation Sawyer Brown. They will be performing a wide variety of songs the band has recorded through the years including #1 hit, “Some Girls Do.”
Since 1984, the band’s high-energy reputation, uncompromising dedication to their fans, along with their relentless drive to stay true to themselves have never wavered. For the past forty years, “the boys” legendary live shows have captivated audiences with no signs of ever slowing down.
The Evening of Fun concert serves as a main revenue provider for the Alabama Poultry and Egg Association (APEA) producing sixty-five percent of the yearly budget. These funds support APEA programs such as student scholarships, industry personnel and producer continuing education, product promotion and public relations.
Alabama’s poultry industry generates over $18.9 billion in revenue each year. It accounts for an astounding 71% of annual farming revenue in the state, and employs over 47,000 employees on the farm, processing facilities and allied industries.
APEA supports the industry through education, promotion, research, and public affairs involvement.
Woodstock, GA native Bryce Leatherwood will be the opening act that sets the stage. As the 2022 “The Voice” winner, Leatherwood is carrying the torch to continue legendary country music.
A next-generation traditionalist plugged firmly into the modern mainstream, with all the hallmarks of a rising star, Leatherwood concluded his first-ever headlining tour, The Neon Does Tour last year, took the Stage at CMA Fest and made his Grand Ole Opry debut on Sept. 14, 2024. His debut single, “Hung Up On You,” aired on country radio as the most-added single, and is currently climbing the country chart
To kick-off the Evening of Fun, the 2025 Top 3 Poultry Farm Families of the Year will be announced and awarded over $20,000 worth of prizes. Nominees are nominated by their service techs and company supervisors. Prizes are sponsored by Alabama Ag Credit, Alabama Farm Credit and First South Farm Credit.
