Applications for Alabama Poultry Foundation scholarships and 2+2 scholarships are now available online at alabamapoultry.org.
In 2023, APEA awarded over $75,000 in scholarships to Auburn University Students and another $5,000 in 2+2 scholarships.
It’s a priority for the Association to help students interested in poultry succeed and understand the entire industry said Alabama Poultry and Egg CEO Johnny Adams.
“As an association we strive to continually recruit students that are interested in poultry science,” said Adams. “While students are at Auburn, we want to give them all the tools to succeed. One way we achieve this is through our foundation scholarships.”
Scholarships are funded by several events and publications throughout the year including the Big Bass Open, Allied Golf Tournament and the annual service directory.
New this year, applications can be filled out and submitted online with all the supporting documents. Please see the scholarships tab for the form.
Applications for 2024 scholarships are due March 15.
